Plan to join us this year on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 16 through 18, 2009, as we celebrate our Hellenic heritage and food with the Weirton Community and surrounding areas.
We're adding to our facility, building a new permanent booth which will house our Loukoumathes during the festival, and remain as additional storage throughout the rest of the year. Over the past few festivals the popularity of both the Loukoumathes (Greek-style donuts with honey and cinnamon) and the Gyros has increased tremendously. With both of them in the same area it was difficult to distinguish the lines which easily became congested. We're hoping this new plan will help decrease the confusion as well as allow us to provide ample quantities of both Gyros and Loukoumathes for our hungry guests. The Loukoumathes will now be available to the left of the stage and band.
We hope you enjoy these pictures from last year's festival.
It takes a lot of hands and a great deal of space to get ready for our festival.
