Interior Renovation Extends "Illumination"
We didn't really plan to add months of work to our project. However, the stained glass in the dome needed some immediate attention. That work along with new interior chandeliers and exterior protective glass is chronicled below. To see the full extent of our work, you will have to visit us here in Weirton. All 16 windows were reinforced and reframed.
Reinstallation was kind of "up in the air"...
Four sets of four colors...
Our Dome is now restored!
Seems like we're up in the air again, with chandelier installation...
Just "hanging" out on the scaffolding (each crystal hung by hand)...
And now, to the exterior of the Dome...
