Parish Renovations 2008

Interior Renovation Project Brightens Church

The first few months of 2008 have been "illuminating" for the Nave of the All Saints Church, quite literally. The scope of the interior renovation project has included refurbishing the main chandelier and the four medium chandeliers in the Nave, replacing the flourescent lighting in the dome, cleaning the interior dome surface, and a few other minor details...

An unscheduled addition to the project was the repair and re-framing of the stained glass windows in the dome. The reframed stained glass will be reinstalled in June, afterwhich the exterior protective coverings will be replaced. By then, the 15 smaller chandeliers in the Nave and Narthex should have also been replaced.

For a complete run down of all the renovation, well, you will just have to visit our church...

For a glimpse of some of the restoration work, please enjoy the images below.

Well, since we cleaned upstairs, maybe we should also clean downstairs...

From top to bottom, cleaned and shined, and just a few more minor details...

Items yet to be done include replacing the smaller chandeliers, reinstalling the reframed stained glass dome windows, replacing the exterior dome protective windows and a few other odds and ends.

If you would like to see the work we've done for yourselves, please join us in July for our parish festival and tour the newly refurbished interior of our church.
