The first few months of 2008 have been "illuminating" for the Nave of the All Saints Church, quite literally. The scope of the interior renovation project has included refurbishing the main chandelier and the four medium chandeliers in the Nave, replacing the flourescent lighting in the dome, cleaning the interior dome surface, and a few other minor details...
An unscheduled addition to the project was the repair and re-framing of the stained glass windows in the dome. The reframed stained glass was reinstalled in early fall, afterwhich the exterior protective coverings were replaced. Fifteen smaller chandeliers in the Nave and Narthex have also been replaced. You can see some of these stained-glass and additional chandelier renovations by clicking here.
For a complete run down of all the renovation, well, you will just have to visit our church...
